Purvashree started her career as a receptionist in one of the well known hotel brands. From being a receptionist, to leading a desk in Institutional Equities team at Edelweiss to now a Partner at Nuvama, the journey has been full of highs and lows and yet fruitful and worth a mention. Currently, she’s a founding member of new age economy desk at Nuvama and looks forward to scaling up the start up ecosystem there.

She along with her mother is extremely passionate about philanthropy, main focus being on education for all, animal welfare, agriculture and senior citizens

They currently run a school cum hostel for orphan kids and an animal shelter and also are working on initiatives for farmer welfare. Purvashree has a masters in Sociology with a specialisation in Child Psychology. She also holds an MBA degree in PR and advertising.

Her journey in the finance world was merely accidental however her passion, perseverance, focus, hardwork and commitment has brought her a long way
