With about ~30 years of professional experience, Nandita is a familiar face in the academic, corporate and startup circles. She has been an academician, administrator, entrepreneur, mentor, advisor, author and angel investor in the various avatars of her professional life. A doctorate in International Economics, Nandita started of as a Professor in Economics and has trained several executives in top/mid-management levels.

In 2015, she founded ‘The Entrepreneur Zone (TEZ’), which is Startup Incubator/Accelerator. In the last few years several startups have been mentored by TEZ through their Startup Launcher Program. TEZ has been recognised as one of the 10 best Consultant Startup companies in 2016 in India (Silicon India, Nov 2016).

She is a TEDx speaker and has given several talks in academic & corporate platforms.

She has been awarded the TiE Best Mentor Award 2016-17 (in the TiE-ISB Connect) and Indiwood Business Excellence Award 2019 and the COWE Excellence Award 2021 and 50 Top Women Achievers Award by T-Hub in March 2022.

She has authored the book “The Asia Pacific Region: Emerging Opportunities for India” and edited the books, “Global Meltdown: Regional Impacts” and “Rethinking India’s Growth Strategy: Services vs Manufacturing, Vol I & II. She was the Spouse Chair on YPO board in 2009-10 and served as Chairperson of CII-Indian Women Network (IWN) Telangana (2019-20), and was is the Co-Chair for TiE Women (2020).
